Genesis 9:3 (NIV)
“Everything that lives and moves about will be food for you. Just as I gave you the green plants, I now give you everything.”

Genesis 9:6 (NIV)
“Whoever sheds human blood, by humans shall their blood be shed; for in the image of God has God made mankind.”
They speak soft lies at the edge of the grave,
“Fear not,” they whisper, “all ascend, all are saved.”
They crown the dead before judgment is named,
But Christ never promised a door without flame.
(Jeremiah 6:14; Matthew 7:21–23)
They say, “When you die, you rise to the sky,”
Yet Jesus spoke first of a narrow way by.
Not wide as the sermons that flatter the crowd,
But tight as a needle, humbling the proud.
(Matthew 7:13–14; Matthew 19:24)
For He did not say, “Believe—and ignore what I taught,”
Nor, “Call Me Lord while My words count for naught.”
He said, “Why name Me Lord with your lips so devout,
Yet refuse what I say, and cast My commands out?”
(Luke 6:46; John 14:15)
They preach faith alone with no cross to be borne,
But Christ said, “Die daily, be broken, be torn.”
Whoever would follow must lose his own life,
Not polish old sins or baptize their strife.
(Luke 9:23–24; Romans 6:1–2)
You say, “He bore all our sins, so I need not obey,”
Yet Scripture cries louder—abide, do not stray.
For faith that is living does not walk alone,
It breathes out obedience, proves what is grown.
(James 2:17; John 15:4–6)
He warned of a righteousness deeper than law,
Greater than scribes who appeared without flaw.
“Unless it exceeds,” said the Son without sin,
“You shall not—at all—enter heaven within.”
(Matthew 5:20)
Not robes of religion, nor prayers said for show,
But hearts made pure where repentance does grow.
For God does not measure by titles or might,
But by truth in the inward, the walking in light.
(Matthew 23:27–28; Psalm 51:6)
And then came the child—small hands, open face—
Christ set him among them and slowed heaven’s pace.
“Unless you turn back, become humble and small,
You cannot enter the kingdom at all.”
(Matthew 18:3; Mark 10:15)
No throne for the proud, no crown for the wise,
Who trust in themselves while truth passes by.
The kingdom is given to those who are low,
Who tremble at words, not sermons for show.
(Isaiah 66:2; Matthew 23:12)
So woe to the teachers who heal without wound,
Who promise the dawn while preaching at noon.
Who cry “Peace, peace,” where no peace can be found,
Who lift souls to heaven without holy ground.
(Ezekiel 13:10; Jeremiah 23:16–17)
For Christ will declare to many that day,
“I never once knew you—depart from My way.”
Not strangers to sermons, nor lacking in signs,
But workers of lawlessness, divorced from His mind.
(Matthew 7:22–23)
Let truth be sharper than comfort or gain:
The cross is not jewelry—it’s death before reign.
To enter His rest, you must enter His life,
Walk as He walked, through surrender and strife.
(1 John 2:3–6; Hebrews 12:14)
Not every voice that says “Heaven” speaks light.
Not every teacher is sent from the Christ.
Test every spirit. Cling fast to the Way.
For only those in Him will enter that Day.
(1 John 4:1; John 14:6)
